about

The thought behind this track is two-fold: 1) I was beginning to experiment more with sound effects in my music, and this was an early attempt. The idea was of a guy who steps out of his flat onto the sidewalk, pulls the door shut, realizes he has locked his keys in the house, when it begins to rain. Heaving a sigh of frustration, he begins to knock at the door. Keys jangle through out the song. 2) I thought of Revelation 3:20 - "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me."
